SPEEDO : SUMMER OF LOVE

After a research trip to San Francisco in the Summer of 2017, I decided to build a story around the anniversary of the Summer of Love. A good project to flex the illustration skills. The Protest Badge on Stonewashed denim effect was completed first, the amount of detail a good one to get the teeth into. The others are companion pieces to help flesh out the capsule and give it all a bit of context. The colour palette was quite kaleidoscopic, and with the direction of full retro spectrum colour-blocks fit the trend well.
