PETE TONG : IBIZA CLASSICS 2019

I was contacted by the company Ladbroke Gnomes in London and was asked to submit some concept-work for the 2019
Pete Tong Ibiza Classics show.
On the mood-board supplied to me, there was plenty of film posters, and the direction for the project was to be cinematic in tone. So going for that classy, iconic, orchestral aesthetic here, through a mix of more direct photographic compositions, but also something a bit more graphic - illustrative & evocative.
I was also aiming for something quite nostalgic, hence the amount of reflection etc within the work. Additionally, as the final concept would ideally be a continuation of previous campaigns, the use of a circle (which has been a staple of previous designs) was used in different ways - ie the sunset 'cymbal' etc.
